Strathfield Upton sold for the then Australian all breeds record price of $140,000 at the National Droughtmaster Sale at Gracemere in September 2005. He was sold on a 3/4 share and full possession basis to the Vitwood Stud, Pialba.

Upton's sale weight was 1026kg at 32 months of age. He was a magnificent bull which was evident by his sale price. He had tremendous sire appeal, overall balance, excellent muscle pattern and underline. A very mobile sire who possessed a personality second to none.

Top Price Bull 2004 National Droughtmaster Sale

Strathfield Telesto was the top price bull of the 2004 National Droughtmaster Sale.

 

He was sold for $70,000 on a 3/4 share and full possession basis to the Imbil Droughtmaster Stud, Imbil.

​

He weighed 1026kg at 34 months of age. Telesto possesses great sire appeal, length and depth, coupled with an impeccable temperament which he throws to his progeny.

2nd top price bull of 2004 National Sale.

Strathfield Trucent was the 2nd top price bull of the 2004 National Droughtmaster Sale. He was sold for $34,000 on a 3/4 share and full possession basis to the Wolfang Droughtmaster Stud at Clermont.

​

His sale weight was 996kgs at 34 months of age. 

 

Trucent was a very mobile bull with good muscling, spring of rib and a huge amount of sire appeal.

Purchased for $24,000 at the Rockhampton National Droughtmaster Sale 2001.

Shogun was selected specifically for his excellent muscle pattern and sire appeal. Shogun sired the 2005 Australian All Breeds Record Priced bull, "Strathfield Upton" along with the 2008 record price Highlands Sale topper at $37,500, "Strathfield Wizdom".

​

He has produced some outstanding calves with good fleshing and moderate bone.

​

Since his passing, he is now used in the stud through AI.

Purchased at the Highlands Droughtmaster Bull Sale as a 2 year old.

 

Kenlogan 160 was used lightly in the stud herd. He was the sire of the $70,000 Strathfield Telesto and the $34,000 Strathfield Trucent at the 2004 National Droughtmaster Sale.

 

Kenlogan 160 possessed a faultless temperament. He oozed with volume and capacity through his tremendous length, depth and spring of rib - characteristics that he passes to his progeny.

 

Since his passing, he is now used in the stud through AI.
